Merry Christmas! HOHOHO

The boys had a nice Christmas. First Hunter wanted to research Santa's favorite cookies. We found on line that his favorite cookies were Chocolate chip. So we made some of those for Santa to eat. Then Avery and I made Avery's favorite Orange mini muffins. He ate almost all of them by himself. Hunter and I went and watched the Christmas Carol with a friend and her son. Hunter really enjoyed the movie. Christmas eve evening we watched two shows Hunter picked out, Charlie Brown Christmas and Garfields Christmas. Then we let them open up one present and Avery picked out the one from Gramma and Papa and Hunter picked out the one from Aunt Kami and her family. They both loved the gifts they received. Thank you everyone. Then Hunter set out cookies and milk with a letter asking for Santa's autograph. Then we looked on Norad and Hunter kept telling Avery it was time to go to sleep becuase santa was already in Japan. They woke up and open their gifts and now are putting lego's together and playing video games. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gingerbread decorating

The boys decorated one of those premade gingerbread houses. I let each one have one side of the roof, one end and one side. Here aer some pictures of their house they decorated.

Candy Cane Lane at the elementry school

Monday (DEC 14) they had candy cane lane at the school. The boys decorated sugar cookies. Hunter got to see Santa. Avery went outside to play with his friends on the playground. You know, to big to see Santa now!!!!!!! Avery didn't notice me taking this picture of him. But the rest he wouldn't let me take.

Football and Santa

Today was the last game for the football season. Both Avery's team and Hunter's team lost their game,. but they had a great time. Next sport is Baseball.

Last weekend, Hunter had his picture taken at the commissary and he told me that he thinks that is the real Santa, but it can't be the real Mrs. Clause because she is Japanese and the real Mrs. Clause isn't Japanese.

Avery and Hunter's football

Last week both the boys game were cancelled due to rain. So this Saturday was their second game. Avery made a touchdown on the first play of the game. Of course, I didn't get it on film. His team did win, so they are 2-0 right now. He plays his best friends team next Saturday.

Hunter's team tied with the other team. He is starting to understand what he is suppose to do. He gets a little confused and with flag football, you are not allowed to touch the other person except to take their flag.

That is the part that Avery hate and misses about tackle football.

Educator's day

On Educator's day, (Thursday) the boys didn't have school, but I had to work. It was a fun filled day. There were five session to pick from and one of those session's you had an open lunch. I choose session 1 and 2 to do water aerobics. It was fun, I couldn't keep my balance on the noodle. A friend and I had a hard time not laughing at each other. The next session I chose was session 3 and I learned how to make Washi Eggs. They are really relaxing to make. The last session , session 5 I took a SOS class about saving the environment. It was very informative. I enjoyed the whole day.

On Friday , I had training for Para's about autism. I learned alot of useful information to use in class with the students I work with. I am still very happy with my job and love it, I love the kids I work with and every day I look forward to going to work. This is the best job I have had.

Football has started

The boys had their first football game today. Avery went to Ikego to play and had to be at the bus at 5:45 this morning. He got back around 4 and said that his team won and he got an interception. He has a home game next weekend, so I can get some video and pictures of him playing. He said that his team won.

Hunter had fun at his game. He was so cute during the game. He told his dad that he did really good blocking. He is on offense. He was a little confused at the beginning of the game(which is the video I have) but towards the end of the game he started to get the hang of what he was suppose to do. His team did lose but they all had fun.

Both the boys have Yellow Jerseys.

This afternoon they had an october fest going on at the park on base. The boys wanted to go and hang out with their friends. I told them to go ahead and go. Hunter came home later that afternoon and had a handful of free stuff he got. He got a shirt for everyone , hats, light sticks, pens, and wanted me to go back with him so he could get a mug. The mugs you had to buy. They both had fun. Avery was playing football with his friends there.

Carving pumpkins

Yesterday the boys carved their pumpkins. Avery used a pattern on his and Hunter drew a picture and then used that as his template. Hunter's is suppose to be a bear.

Hunter went to the youth center halloween party last night and one first place for the best costume. I will get pictures of them in their costume before they go trick or treating tonight.

Disney Seas

Yesterday we went to Disney Seas, and boy was that placed crowded. We waited in line for the Indiana Jones ride for 2.5 hours and all the fast passes were gone by 11 that morning. They even had 30 minute lines for the gift shop. The video is of a show they were doing and then there is also the video of tower of terror. It is all in Japanese. They ended up closing the park off at 4 and not letting anymore people in the park because there were way to many people already in the park. Next saturday is Halloween and the Georgia Flordia game. GO DAWGS!!!!! I will post some pictures of the boys up next weekend. Avery is going as Michael Myers and Hunter will be a grizzly bear.
