The Great Buddha, Kamakura

Yesterday, we went on a day trip to see the Great Buddha and some shrines around there too. It was nice to see the coast. The trip had a lot of walking, especially up and down stairs. Hunter had fun going through a cave. In one of the pictures he was copying the great Buddha with his fingers. Avery said he would eat on of those octopus on a stick if I gave him 80 bucks. I told him "yea right." We saw a traditional Japanese wedding going on and the tour guide said that the women were those big hat things to hid the horns of Jealousy. Avery didn't want his picture taken, so that his why he looks like he is in pain.

Update on events

I haven't posted in a while and just wanted to update on what is going on in our lives. On Saturday we are going the the Great Buddha. Hunter has been wanting to see this since we got to Japan. Keep fingers crossed that it doesn't rain, since there is alot of walking on this trip. We are taking Kelly's Flat Stanley around and taking pictures from over here with her Stanley. Also both boys are signed up for baseball and start up in two weeks.
