The boys and I went off base to a restaurant last night. I can''t remember the name of it. It is an all you can eat place, you sit at the tables and they have little stoves in the tables and you go to the place where they have the meat and veggies and stuff and pick out what you want to cook and you cook it at your table. Hunter absolutely loved the place. Avery and Hunter ate baby octopus, I stuck with chicken and veggies. Avery kept wanting me to try the octopus and i told him no. He said, i bet daddy would try it. I just looked at him and laughed.

Trip to the zoo and soy sauce factory
Today we went on a day trip to the sayama zoo and Kawagoe city. The zoo was small but the kids had fun. The got to hold a chick and Hunter got to hold a guinea pig and ride a pony. Avery opted out of the last two. The city of Kawagoe was nice, it had a lot of old buildings and we got to see how soy sauce was made and they gave each person a sample bottle of soy sauce. On the way back to the bus, the boys wanted Ice Cream , so i go them some and they tried it and made a funny face and told me it was disgusting. (The lady asked them if they wanted yellow or purple ice cream) I told them to quit complaining and just eat it. Avery said it tasted like tomato soup. So I tried it and it made me gag. It did taste like cold tomato soup. It was disgusting. What gets me is Avery still ate the whole thing.

Outing with Hunter
Today Hunter and I walked off base to the store (kinda like a walmart) because Hunter was wanting some toe socks. We took the camera with us to take pictures of some of the food they sell in the store. Hunter had fun poking at the fish eyes. We are also dog sitting. The dog's name is Roxy and she is so tiny. The boys get made because she just follows me around and they want her to follow them.

First day with just the boys and I
Today , Robbie left for Kadena for six weeks. This is also the week of spring break. The boys and I started the day dropping Robbie off at the bus to catch the plane. Then we did a little cleaning and after lunch I took them and a friends daughter to the pool. Hunter wanted to jump in the deep end, which still makes me nervous because he won't go back to swimming lessons. But he did it and swam to the side OK. (I still think he needs more lessons though). Once we got home and changed we took their personal pitcher to the baseball fields and went and hit some balls. Hunter is already missing his dad. We do have a day trip planned for the 18th and our dog sitting this week for two days. Baseball practice for both boys start up this week too. My goal is to try and post more on here. I seem to forget and get busy and before I know it a few weeks have gone by.
