Avery and swimming

Avery decided to finally take up swimming lessons. I and his daddy, thought that they would end up moving him down a leve. I signed him up for Level three with Hunter, but I didn't think he was a well enough swimmer to be in level three. I was going to let the teacher tell him that. After his swimming lessons on Monday, the teacher asked me why I put him in level three. I am thinking, (becuase Avery wouldn't listen to me that he needs to be in level two, that is where you get to tell him). But I said, becuase I wasn't quite sure which level to put him in. The teacher said, that he is a strong swimmer and in his opinion , Avery should be in level four. Avery had the biggest grin on his face, and now (even though I am keeping him in level three for this month) Avery thinks that swimming is the best thing and he wants to stick with it.
Oh yea, we are also hitting the pre teen attitude with Avery too. The fun is just beginning. Hunter wants us to adopt a brother for him, so he can have a nicer brother. lol. Hunter is funny, I am just glad I still have one that hasn't hit that stage yet. Hopfully , Hunter will hit it later than Avery did.

I love Hunter's mind! He always cracked me up in the classroom. I know what you mean about that invisible 5th grade line. McKenzie has had some growing pains in the old attitude arena too, but things are starting to level out now as we get used to the situation. I think it is hard because it is our oldest and I know I wasn't expecting it. Maybe it will be an easier transition with the younger ones since we have a heads up thanks to the firstborn. It is hard to be the trailblazer :).

by the time I am through with Avery's attitude stage, I will have gray hairs before hunter gets there. lol. Just wait until they hit high school. I know, I am hoping that it gets easier for us too, when the younger ones go through it.
