Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! These two weeks are going by so fast with the boys out of school. Robbie had this week off, so we decided to explore a little off base. We went to a place called the Mall. The boys had fun looking at all of the stuff in there. They got excited when they saw a Baskin Robbins in the mall and wanted to go. I guess they forgot there was one in the bx. It was confusing going into the parking lot. The entrance way was also part of the exit , one side of the road had arrows pointing out and one side had arrows pointing in. That wasn't the bad part, before you get to the entrance there is a big sign over it with the no enter sign. It made it look like you weren't suppose to go in that way. We circled the road outside of the mall about four times before we saw someone go in that way. Kinda reminded me of the national lampoon European vacation with the "look kids there's big Ben."
We also made it to Joyful Honda , which I always like going to. They have a craft store, and pet store upstairs and a grocery store down stairs. Their apples and cucumbers and persimmons are so cheap there compared to the commissary. We ended up getting the boys a turtle that they named Franklin. He is so tiny. He is a little water turtle.
Now I just need to get the boys back on the school schedule ready for Monday. They have been staying up late playing the Wii and Xbox and sleeping till 10am. I also work all next week as a kindergarten aid, which will be fun. I am really enjoying working as a sub. It has been so much fun.
Hope everyone has a great New Year!
