This has been a busy week. Monday was the first day of school. Avery is now in Middle school and rides the bus to school. He likes the fact that he is at school and mom does not work there. He has P.E and shop as electives for this semester. He came home on Wednesday and did his homework and ate a snack, then at about 5 jumped in the shower and laid down to watch TV and was out for the night. I think he is finally getting adjusted to waking up at 6 in the morning to get ready for school. Hunter is enjoying being a fourth grader. He has another male teacher, which he says he likes having male teachers. He said that his teacher is really funny. For the next four weeks, Hunter has art as his elective and then he switches to another elective.
For me , I am loving my job. The days just fly by and I really enjoy working with the people and the kids I work with.
Avery starts swim team on Tuesday and then next week football sign ups start up , but they don't start until November. I will sign both Hunter and Avery for football. Hunter decided this year that he didn't want to do swimming anymore. It because a struggle to get him to go, so we decided to take a break with it. I did put him on the waiting list for Jujitsu. I would like for him to give it a try when they call and see if he maybe likes that.
Sunday early morning is the first game of Georgia. GO DAWGS.
